hey ya, back again. Time for my annual update for my blog. I'm been busy goin to class every day from monday to friday. Routine work.I think education system in msia shud change if they;re gonna make learning fun. I once read this old aphorism,'I hear and forget,i see and i understand,i do and i remember' Thats how educating ppl shud be. How can u just give them lectures after lectures,bulks of notes and just make them for a written test tat ultimately judges the students whether they are qualified to do watever that they;ve signed up for. And those computer labs shit are total bull,u go in a room filled with computers,u choose the computer of ur liking,(mine is the one underneath the air cond vent)click open a program tat gives u some animations and a whole shitload of words and they even have narrators to lecture u on the lecture. WOW tats great.more lecture and this time from a computer. I totally understands the whole how the crap works,for now. I believe the human mind is a miracle itself. Only thing are the way of teaching tats a tad bit old.

okay,rant about my classes are done. Now the whole make ur choices in life and face the consequences thing. It funny how funny this whole thing works. I;ve been told hey,tats not the right thing to do. And i dun get how the right thing comes around.I mean anyone can tell me wats the absolute truth? wat is morally right for one person might not be the morally right thing to do for another person now right? okay,for example,Emos, yeah those tat use eye liners and always black from head to toe. It how they express themselves so wat makes them losers? Its funny.

Interview Preparation

Here are some useful tips for preparing for your interview.

First Impressions

• · Be well prepared--know who you are meeting and the interviewers' position in the Company
• · Do some research on the company - always check the website
• · Be on time, if not early
• · ‘Dress appropriately smart / professional
• · Be polite to support staff - receptionists etc.
• · Make eye contact immediately when greeted
• · Smile and be friendly
• · Give a confident handshake
• · Thank the interviewer for taking the time to meet with you

The Interview

1. · Show interest in the job and the company
2. · Be enthusiastic
3. · Have an easy non-work related topic of conversation ready to discuss
4. · Be relaxed and don't slouch
5. · Position yourself so that your body is facing the other person
6. · Watch your body language--do not cross your arms
7. · Make regular eye contact but not for long
8. · Let the interviewer lead the conversation
9. · Listen carefully to the questions asked and ask them to repeat or re-phrase the question if you are unclear
10. · Be honest with your answers-do not bluff
11. · Answer what you have been asked and try not to go off on tangents
12. · Do not interrupt the interviewer
13. · Don't pretend to know everything-this can often put the interviewer off
14. · Ask questions throughout the interview (not just at the end) about the role, the company and the nature of the business

Some Sample Questions you may be asked at an interview:

1. · Tell me about a time when you had to work against strict time constraints?
2. · What procedures have you followed in order to prioritize your work in the past?
3. · What sort of things do you find distracting when you are trying to work? And, how do you deal with them?
4. · What activities have you undertaken as part of a team?
5. · Tell me about a time when things were particularly hectic? How did you feel? And, what steps did you take to deal with the pressure?
6. · Why do you want a job in our company and what will you bring to the position?
7. · Why do you want to leave your current position?
8. · What type of company can you see yourself fitting into?
9. · Why should we take you on board?
10. · Have you ever had to deal with a difficult customer and how did you handle it?
11. · What are your key strengths and/or weaknesses?

12.· Make sure that you are able to answer these questions by providing the interviewer with specific examples.

counting ur blessingS~!

I always tell ppl to count their blessing and still i complain often sometimes.Well this time i want to share with u guys about a thank u list from someone who grew up having more downs than ups and still she is the most giggle-able person i;ve ever met.Nothing is easy. so here;s the thank u list and hope u feel better about ur life and the choices tat u've made along the years.

overdue hello to 2009

hello 2009...it was just like yesterday,i was in my primary one first day class when teacher,Puan Dang asked me to start everyday 's work by writing the date at the top corner of the page. Little did i know,it was kinda like signing up for 10-16years of studying. Well,that was 14 years ago. In this short amount of time,i've experience pain,joy,friendship and lots more ups and downs that made me who am i today. I've grown up but i'm still learning how to be a man. A man of my words,trustworthy,a leader and most importantly a happy man.
okay,wats new with 2009 then? My sister's married and now expecting her first child. Yeah..my goh jill leen is gonna be a momma.Of course good ol gideon will always wish she'll be a big momma. And then i'll have two mothers at home for a couple of months. One mommy dearest,one mama jill and will we be having kaima ester for christmas this year? *fingers crossed*. And ming shu is now my god brother. My family's expanding.
Well last weekend i went to singapore with my other 'family' and we had a blast,eventhough budget trip means 600rm gone. Freaking currency rate.But we had a blast tho. We stayed in this old 60s looking building with other backpackers sharing toilet and all,but it was good experience. One night me,joey and meichan went walking around town just to see how singapore is like at night,we got lost and ended up walking till 3.30 almost 4 around. Haha our navigating skills are legen..wait for it...dary....yeah u got tat right...but it was another good experience. MC's complaining was bearable tat night.:) But singapore was predictable,three days there and i kiasu-ed for days already. I get to go the most expensive golf club,sit in one of the most expensive cars in the world and darling vw golf gti. Big boys toys.If i stayed there for a year i think i'll go crazy cause no matter how hard u work unless ur paycheck is 6 or 7 digits, it'll never be enough. Money no enough..so true! -.-"
Okay what else is new for 2009 so far, i'm in my sem2 and i seriously dunno if there will be a sem3 for me. Hmm wat else? MC gonna have her third nipple removed soon,hope its not too painful. Batu wants me to mention her,so this is it. Batu's favourite date of the year is 14/3/2009. Car,sakae, and MU. But i doubt liverpool can go all the way.

Just a quick Update!

Happy birthday,Ash and Alex. BIG 2-0,daddy-Os. haha i'm heading back to stw this weekend after my final paper on friday..whoohoo...My sis and victor is coming back too. hmm gon share my insights on stuffs tat happend in my life sooon..if ur interested,keep coming back for more....only on giddyck..where laziness is taken to a whole new level!! ;P
